How Attorney Experience is Calculated:
- Attorneys have 0 years of experience in the calendar year they graduate from law school or pass the bar.
- Starting January 1 of the following year, they gain 1 year of experience for each calendar year.
- If graduation or bar admission year is unavailable, use the closest available information.
Example: An attorney who graduated in 2023 will have 0 years of experience for work performed in 2023.
Work performed in 2024 will be calculated as 1 year of experience.
